We are thrilled to announce the upcoming 2026 National BIWOC Conference!
This year’s theme, The Power of Us: Status, Safety and Solidarity, will build connection, strengthen leadership, and confirm our collective power within our union.
This conference will be grounded in the understanding that our experiences are shaped by both our identities and our work. Through workshops and interactive discussions, participants will explore how status, safety, and solidarity shape our lives at work and in our communities. Together we will build worker power by learning from our experiences, celebrating our resilience, and creating space to strengthen relationships and solidarity.
The BIWOC Conference will be held at the Unifor Family Education Center, in Port Elgin, Ontario, starting Friday, June 12, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. and ending Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.
Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. on Friday with the on-site registration open from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
We anticipate this conference will fill up quickly, so locals must register online and submit reservation forms early to avoid disappointment.
To register for the conference, you must complete the online registration process by visiting: https://register1.unifor.org/ AND you must complete and submit the reservation form for the Unifor Family Education Centre.
