2021 December 6th Campaign

New posters this year will feature male leadership encouraging men to speak up about male violence against women. There has been a sharp rise in gender-based violence during the pandemic, a trend which the United Nations has referred to as a “shadow pandemic.”

December 6th events will be held in communities across the country. Locals are encouraged to hold their own events or join with community events where safe. Information will be available to Locals later in November with suggestions of actions to be taken to address gender-based violence year round.
