Unifor has launched an ambitious project aimed at strengthening one of our most important structures: our local unions. The Local Union Task Force, which is rolling out in communities across the country in 2015, intends to start a conversation about how our local unions are built, how they function, as well as identify the challenges they face and what they need to succeed.
One important way that Unifor’s local union leadership can participate in this effort is by participating in this local union survey. To fill out the survey, click here.
Each local union is required to submit one completed survey. The survey must be filled out by a local union president, or another designated representative of the local union.
The information generated by this survey will help inform the Local Union Task Force’s work and help frame the Task Force recommendations.
