We are thrilled to announce the 2026 National Human Rights Conference taking place at the Unifor Family Education Centre in Port Elgin, Ontario.

The 2026 theme, Human Rights, Multiple Identities, Shared Solutions, focuses on the power of worker’s diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences while we continue to fight for our rights.

This year, participants will experience storytelling, workshops, and skill building from expert guest speakers and advocates alike. Each member who attends will leave with new skills, and tools to take back to their locals. More importantly, each participant will leave with new friends, bravery, and determination to fight for what is right for all of us.

The Human Rights Conference begins Friday, July 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. and will adjourn no later than 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2026.

Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. on Friday with the on-site registration open from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

We anticipate this conference will fill up quickly, so locals must register online and submit reservation forms early to avoid disappointment.

To register for the conference, you must complete the online registration process by visiting: https://register1.unifor.org/ AND you must complete and submit the reservation form for the Unifor Family Education Centre.
