Save the date! The 2025 National Pride Conference will be held May 30 to June 1 at the Family Education Centre in Port Elgin, Ontario and will be open only to members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
The Pride Conference is a bilingual event for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, two-spirit, intersex, asexual (2SLGBTQIA+) members to gain skills and build knowledge. Allies’ activism and support is important for campaigns and progress year-round, but this conference is a space for members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to work together.
The conference begins in the evening of Friday May 30th and ends at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday June 1st.
Registration information will be sent out to local unions in the new year.
Plan your attendance and education! The week leading into the conference, Unifor’s Pride Activist 5-Day PEL course will also be offered. This is a life-changing course that connects members across the country with the skills and community needed to build their activism in the union, workplace and hometowns.
