We need your help to save the services that save us all.
Doug Ford’s government is disastrous for our public services, slashing funding for education and vital family supports. His next target is our public health care system, with plans to:
- cut public health funding and close 25 out of 35 local Public Health Units.
- close 49 out of 59 local ambulance services, and
- close 12 of 22 dispatch centres.
Ontario is already experiencing dangerous, crisis-level hospital overcrowding and has the fewest hospital beds per person in Canada. More cuts mean job losses, fewer services, longer wait times, more profit-driven private health care and higher death rates. We deserve better care!
