Unifor Local 27 members at St. Joseph’s Health Care London have ratified a new three-year collective agreement that delivers strong gains in wages and benefits.
“I’m proud of the work Unifor Local 27 has done to deliver real and necessary improvements for health care members in London,” said Unifor National President Lana Payne. “Securing better wages and benefits is not just important—it’s critical in attracting and retaining workers in the health care sector.”
The new agreement includes wage increases, enhanced health benefits and strengthened language throughout the collective agreement.
“This deal gives our members wage security and better benefits at a time of rising costs and an uncertain economic climate,” said Local 27 Vice President Health Care, Kari Selmes. “Negotiating on behalf of such a large and diverse group wasn’t easy, but our committee stayed focused and delivered results.”
The agreement covers 1,750 members and will be in effect from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2028.
