TPP Rally Toronto

With the federal government's hearings into the Trans-Pacific Partnership comign to Toronto, Unifor is organizing the Parallel People’s Trade Hearings to give voice to some of the ordinary people who will be affected by the deal.

“Our new government has said it wants to hear from as many Canadians as possible, so we will make sure more voices are heard than can get into the hearings themselves,” said Roland Kiehne, Unifor’s Director of Member Mobilization and Political Action.

Similar hearings last month in the west had few opportunities for Canadians to speak out, this rally will offer more people the chance to speak out.
