Unifor is proud to partner with YWCA Canada on the Rose Campaign during the 16 days of Activism to End Gender Based Violence taking place November 25 to December 10, 2026.
The YWCA is the largest shelter provider in Canada for women when they need a safe place to leave an intimate partner violence situation.
Unifor Women’s Department is calling on Local Women’s Committees to support the campaign through two actions:
- 20K Steps for Change: A team-based walking challenge that raises awareness about gender-based violence in Canada. Commit to walking 20,000 steps individually or collectively.
- 16 Digital Roses: Send 16 digital roses with personalized messages to raise awareness and show solidarity.
