Unifor is holding a Forestry National Day of Action on Friday, October 16, 2026, as part of the Fight for Forestry Jobs campaign.
Following the powerful stories members shared at the recent Canadian Council, forestry locals across the country will hold events, big and small, in as many forestry communities as possible.
Events may include barbecues on mill grounds, rallies with members, family and friends, and information handouts at the mill gate. The goal is to reach every forestry member and show them that Unifor members across Canada are standing with them in the fight to save their industry.
