Adele Jackman

Adele Jackman has been a Bell employee since 2003 and became involved in the union shortly after joining the company. Her union involvement began with service on several local committees, including the Elections Committee and Scholarship Committee, before she became a steward in 2005.

Adele has held a number of leadership roles within Local 410, serving as Regional Representative and Unit Chair before being elected Vice President in 2018. She has also served as Chief Steward and has been a member of the bargaining team since 2022.

Her involvement with the Atlantic Regional Council began in 2017, when she was elected Secretary-Treasurer, a position she held until June 2026. At the 2026 Atlantic Regional Council, Adele was elected Chairperson of the Atlantic Regional Council.

Since 2017, Adele has also served as a Discussion Leader with Unifor National Education—a role she calls her favourite. It has given her the opportunity to meet members from across the country, learn about their workplaces and experiences, and build connections throughout the union.

Outside of her union work, Adele enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff, and their son, Alex.
