Unifor health care and social services workers from across Ontario are heading to Queen’s Park May 25–28 to meet directly with elected officials and demand urgent action to strengthen public health care.
During the four-day legislative lobby, members will raise concerns about staffing shortages, burnout, underfunding, privatization, and the growing pressures facing frontline workers and patients across the province.
Lobbying elected officials is a critical opportunity for frontline workers to bring their voices directly into the halls of power and push for real solutions that protect public health care and improve working conditions for workers.
Unifor members will be calling on the provincial government to invest in staffing, improve retention, support frontline workers, and strengthen Ontario’s public health care system before the crisis worsens.
