Watch hundreds of Unifor members from across the province gather in Toronto for the 2025 Ontario Regional Council meeting to celebrate the year’s victories, take on the challenges ahead, and shine a light on the workers who build Ontario. Delegates vowed to protect Canadian jobs wherever the U.S. tariff war threatens workers. From Ontario’s auto sector, like the Stellantis plant in Brampton and the GM CAMI plant in Ingersoll, to the forestry communities facing punishing softwood lumber tariffs, Unifor members are taking action everywhere. Delegates also displayed tremendous solidarity with record donations for locked-out Titan Tool & Die workers in Windsor, and renewed calls to have Intimate Partner Violence declared an epidemic, because fighting for workers means fighting for safety, dignity, and stronger communities.
