On November 29, Quebec’s major union organizations are calling a large inter-union and public rally in Montréal to push back against the CAQ government’s attacks on trade union rights, the right to strike and democratic freedoms. Through legislation like Bills 3 and 89, the government is targeting union funding, limiting unions’ ability to act and weakening workers’ collective voice. Thousands of workers and allies will take to the streets to say no to this historic rollback of rights and demand that the Legault government change course. The rally is family-friendly, inclusive and open to everyone.
