BRAMPTON–Hundreds of Unifor members and community supporters will gather on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Protect Canadian Jobs rally in Brampton, Ontario, to demand action against U.S. trade attacks and to defend Canadian workers.
“The sector-by-sector attacks by President Trump keep coming but Canadians are resolved to fight for our jobs and our economy,” said Unifor National President Lana Payne. “Now is the time to take action to protect workers from sustained U.S. targeting and build our own path forward.”
The family-friendly rally will take place on the Williams Parkway boulevard in front of the Stellantis Brampton Assembly Plant, where retooling for next-generation electric and gas-powered Jeep vehicles was paused in February following the U.S. announcement of a 25% tariff on Canadian-built vehicles, putting approximately 3,000 workers at risk.
