Celebrating another successful year for Unifor NFL Fantasy with 1500 participants

As the final whistle blew on another thrilling season, the Unifor NFL Fantasy Pool celebrated an exciting year with a robust participation of 1500 dedicated members. The league witnessed intense competition, fostering excitement and camaraderie throughout the season.

Securing the spotlight as the true titans of the Unifor NFL Fantasy Pool were the overall champions who tied for 1st place with an impressive 188 wins each. Mike Augello, a member of Local 707 working at Ford Assembly in Oakville, and Cindy Schooley, a member of Local 5555 at McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, displayed unparalleled football knowledge. Notably, both Local 707 and 5555 boasted three weekly winners this year, showcasing a depth of talent within these chapters.

Claiming the third spot on the podium was Bill Glass, a member of Local 37 employed at Bell Canada in Waterloo, Ontario. Bill's team, TOleafs, delivered a commendable performance, securing the third position with 184 wins.

This season's success is a testament to the passion and commitment of the 1500 participants who collectively contributed to the league's thrilling atmosphere.
