Unifor retirees in the Port Elgin Labour Day parade.

Retired worker representatives from Unifor locals across Canada will gather in at the Family Education Centre in Port Elgin this September for the first time since 2019.

The meeting will be an important part of the post-pandemic efforts to build retiree chapters and to give retirees more opportunities to stay involved in their union.

Delegates will also participate in the Port Elgin Labour Day Parade. There will be elections, resolutions and guest speakers. For full details, and information on registering, please see the call letter for the conference.
