We are pleased to announce that the 2024 Ontario Regional Council (ORC) will be held in-person at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, Toronto, from December 6 to 7, 2024. Please ensure delegates are prepared to stay until adjournment on Saturday, December 7 at 5:00 p.m., which may mean travelling home on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

We encourage locals to support the participation of equity deserving members by selecting equity representation (Women, Black, Indigenous and Workers of Colour, Workers with disAbilities, LGBTQ and Young Workers 35 and under) as part of their delegation. As part of our ongoing commitment to equity, we are requesting that locals utilize the special delegate entitlement allotted under the ORC bylaws.

Additionally, in accordance with council bylaws, ORC will be holding elections to fill vacancies for the remaining one (1) year term in the following positions: Employee Family Assistance Program Standing Committee (1), Young Workers Standing Committee (1) and the Workers Compensation Standing Committee (1).
