- Parade participants will marshal in the area of the Home Hardware parking lot for the parade that begins at 11 a.m. and proceeds south on Goderich Street.
- Following the parade there will be a barbecue with free food, music and family fun at the Unifor Centre.
- Organizers ask people to support the Port Elgin foodbank by bringing a non‑perishable food item to the parade/barbecue.
- Among those marching will be members of the Retired Workers Council who are attending a five-day National conference at the Unifor Centre.
