We write to advise you that as of March 17, the Alberta government has put a ban on gatherings of 50 people or more. This means our Prairie Regional Council which was scheduled April 23 – 27 will be cancelled.
As we work to see if this event can be re-scheduled in the coming months, please cancel any travel and accommodation arrangements you have made. If you have a booking at the Hyatt Regency Calgary, your reservation will be cancelled if you booked in the PRC block.
Please continue to send in your Unity Team Nomination forms up until March 31, 2020.

Regional Councils meet at least once a year, with every local eligible to send delegates to discuss and debate important issues in their regions such as provincial labour laws and policies, and regional economic and social concerns. Regional Councils will also spearhead various campaigns and activities.
The next Unifor Prairie Regional Council will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Calgary, Alberta, located at 700 Centre Street SE. Please see the call package attached for detailed information.

- Saturday, April 25, 2020 – PRC Day 2 (two)
- Sunday, April 26, 2020 – PRC Day 3 (three) half day
- Monday, April 27, 2020 – EFAP Mental Health Matters Workshop (Fairmont Palliser)
Please see accommodation information included in the call package, a block of rooms has been set up at Hyatt Regency. All accommodations should be booked in this block first in order to avoid penalties to the PRC. If you have questions regarding the block, please contact @email
