The Unifor Quebec Director’s Tour is officially underway. This week, Quebec Director Daniel Cloutier, accompanied by Unifor Quebec’s leadership team, launched the tour in Amos.
Taking place over several weeks, the tour aims to meet with local unions across Quebec to engage directly with members on the key issues affecting them, at a time when economic and political challenges are having a significant impact on working people.
“Workers across Quebec are facing significant challenges. This tour allows us to engage directly with members, maintain strong ties with local unions, and ensure that members’ voices are fully integrated into our actions, strengthening our collective ability to respond to the challenges ahead,” said Daniel Cloutier, Quebec Director of Unifor.
Most of each day will be dedicated to discussions on major priorities, including Bill 3, tariff-related issues, and the current economic situation.
The agenda also includes a presentation by the coordinator for the Fonds de solidarité subscription, followed by open discussions, giving local unions the opportunity to speak, share their concerns, and highlight regional realities.
Each day will conclude with a time for discussion and networking to wrap up the day, allowing members to continue conversations with Unifor Quebec’s leadership team in an informal setting.
