MONTREAL— A new tentative collective agreement has been reached between Unifor Local 100 and CN.

“Congratulations to the bargaining committee, who have been working very hard over the last two months to make significant gains for our members,” said Jerry Dias, Unifor National President.

Unifor represents 2100 workers at Local 100 who work at CN across Canada.

Negotiations began October 5, 2018. The last collective agreement expires at the end of the month.

“We are proud that Local 100 along with our brothers and sisters in Local 101R have established the best pattern in the railroad industry in Canada that meets the needs of our members,” said Terry McKimm, President of Local 100.

No details of the tentative agreement will be released publicly until the agreement is presented to members in a series of ratification meetings across the country.
