Dear Members,

Unifor Council 4000 and Local 100 are pleased to announce that members have voted to ratify a new collective agreement with CN. This agreement, reached after a challenging round of bargaining, represents significant progress in securing meaningful gains for over 3,000 Unifor members across Canada.

The agreement spans 4 years and applies to members working in CN terminals and HQ across Canada, including rail car technicians, heavy-duty mechanics, diesel engine mechanics, crane operators, machinists, electricians, clerical and administration staff, customer support, and fleet mechanics, among others. It delivers improvements to wages, benefits, and job protections, addressing key priorities identified by members throughout this bargaining process.

This ratification reflects the strength and solidarity of Unifor members, whose engagement and determination have been instrumental in achieving this outcome. The agreement ensures better protections and sets the stage for continued advocacy on behalf of workers in the rail sector.

We thank all members who participated in this process and encourage everyone to remain engaged with their local union representatives. As we move forward, staying informed through official union channels will be essential.

In solidarity,

Council 4000 and Local 100 CN Master Bargaining Committees
