Media Advisory - Unifor National President to give May Day address in Regina

REGINA, May 1, 2016 /CNW/ - Unifor National President Jerry Dias will address the union's Prairie Regional Council in Regina on May Day, Sunday May 1.

Unifor members from Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan meet at the Prairie Regional Council to develop strategies for the upcoming year and discuss economic, social, and political issues in the region.

"We're thrilled to welcome Jerry Dias in Regina on May Day," said Unifor Western Director Joie Warnock. "The fight for workers' rights is ongoing and many battles continue including the campaigns to fix the TPP, ban asbestos, and enhance the Canadian Pension Plan."
