Unifor is proud to launch a new video in advance of the June 2, 2022, Ontario provincial election.
“Over the past four years, we have experienced the pitfalls of Doug Ford’s government,” said Naureen Rizvi, Unifor Ontario Regional Director. “Ford let our healthcare system crumble at a time when we need it most, and left workers and our families to struggle to make ends meet from the very first days of his government’s term.”
Ford claimed he was “for the little guy.” He continues to speak for and about Ontarians, without truly understanding what everyday people are really facing.
This is especially evident when it comes to the way Ford has treated workers. Over the past six months, with an election on the horizon, suddenly he has started singing a different tune. But it’s too little, too late. Workers have seen who he really is and what he really stands for—and it’s not workers, nor everyday Ontarians.
