Matthew Blois is the current chairperson of Unifor’s Atlantic Regional Council. He works an Airframe Mechanic at IMP Aerospace and Defence where he serves in the role of Unit Chairperson for Local 2215.
Blois has been an aerospace worker for 19 years, serving in a union executive board role in one form or another for the past 16 years. He also has a role on Unifor’s Aerospace Council as Secretary Treasurer. Blois enjoys tackling the many challenges facing trade unionists in the Maritimes. Although he calls Halifax his home, he was born in Glace Bay and is a very proud “Caper”.
