Leanne Marsh

A proud member of Local 2200, Leanne Marsh was elected Chairperson of Unifor’s B.C. Regional Council in November 2019.

Marsh completed her apprenticeship at a non-union shop and knows first-hand the struggles and hardship apprentices can face, it makes her appreciate Unifor’s commitment to training and education.

She started working at Coast Mountain Bus Company as a parts person 20 years ago and became involved with Local 2200 early on as a shop steward and safety representative.

She later became a Women's Advocate at the union and served on the Apprentice Committee for several years.

Today she is the Recording Secretary for Local 2200. Marsh has a great and supportive family in her partner Scott and two awesome daughters Brooke and Kailee.

In her down time, Marsh likes hiking and running with her dog Oliver, playing baseball, and camping.
