Unifor President Jerry Dias joined members at DHL Canada in a message of solidarity to DHL workers in Colombia as they fight for respect and the right to unionize.
Colombian campaign organizers are calling on supporters to take these actions:
- Show your support for SNTT by taking picture of yourself, your colleagues, your union leaders with signs as follows:
“Respect at DHL Colombia”
“Freedom of association at DHL Colombia”
It is important that the union, country, and number of workers represented are highlighted where possible.
- On 5th November and not before, share your DHL Colombia solidarity images with SNTT's Facebook using #respetodhlcolombia
- On 5th November and not before, tweet your DHL Colombia solidarity images and messages using #respetodhlcolombia and to make sure SNTT feel your support don't forget to include @SNTTdeColombia
