Municipalities across four provinces are heading to the polls in the coming days. Unifor is proud to be a part of these elections, as we understand the importance of municipal governments in the lives of all workers and members of our communities.
Members and their families in British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and PEI will be heading to the polls shortly.
As in any election, we encourage all of our members to get involved in a local campaign, learn more about the issues, and to vote for a progressive candidate who will be a strong voice for their community.
Election dates:
Manitoba - October 22
Ontario – October 27
PEI – November 3
British Columbia – November 15
