Unifor's East Danforth Community Chapter, representing 60 members, was officially founded August 13, 2016 at its inaugural meeting in Scarborough, ON.
Members had the opportunity to meet in person to share their histories and workplace experiences. Following a vote, eight new Executive Committee members proudly took their oath of office.
The new Chapter members were welcomed by Unifor's Fred Wilson, Director of Strategic Planning, Naureen Rizvi, Toronto Area Director, Roxanne Dubois, Organizing and Community Chapters and Maryellen McIlmoyle, President of Unifor Local 673.
