Equal Pay Day illustrates how far into the next year a woman, on average, must work to earn the same amount made by men in the previous year.

This year’s Equal Pay Day is one week later than last year, the gap is not closing it has increased by 3%. To learn more about what you can do to bring attention to this and to show your support for closing the Gender Pay Gap; wear red on April 16th to mark how far “in the red” women are when it comes to their pay; sign the declaration; participate in Equal Pay Day activities in your community.
