Environment - Workplace

Do you have concerns about energy consumption, waste, toxicity or other environmental hazards in your work-place? This course is designed to provide workplace union environment representatives and local union environment committee members with tools and strategies for limiting the damage our workplaces have on the environment.  Participants develop and discuss tools such as workplace mapping, energy audits, toxic reductions and pollution prevention and control, environmental legislation, cancer awareness campaigns, solid waste audits and environmental action through collective bargaining.
